The railway bridge in Żabno, located south of Mogilno, crosses the narrowest point of Lake Mogileńskie. It was constructed between 1917 and 1918. The bridge and the Mogilno-Orchowo railway line were designed by the Germans. The construction involved the labor of slaves, primarily Serbs. The work was so grueling that they typically worked for only three days before succumbing to exhaustion, hunger, and disease. Several Serbs are buried in Mogilno Cemetery. Today, it is an interesting spot for a romantic walk.
